4. Gender and Rural Transport Initiative (GRTI)

This module brings together much of the work that was accomplished under the Gender and Rural Transport Initiative (GRTI). It presents the findings from the pilot projects, country workshops and best practice papers. These resources, which come from research and outreach efforts in sixteen African countries, cover a range of policy, program, and communication issues which are at the heart of integrating gender in transport.
