This presentation entitled 'Gestion des Routes Rurales en Côte d'Ivoire' was made by François Kouakou, Director of Network Management at AGEROUTE, at SSATP's Annual General Meeting in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It presents the (i) fundamental components of Cote d'Ivoire's road development strategy; (ii) transport sector reforms, which include the creation of the AGEROUTE road management agency and the establishment of a road maintenance fund; (iii) road sector needs and challenges; and (iv) strategic measures for managing the country's road network.
