For the third edition of the joint UITP and SSATP webinar series on "Innovations and New Solutions for Small/Individual Bus Operators - How to Adapt to the New Normal?," Mr. Dubey delivered a joint presentation on Chalo's different technology solutions, including their bus tracking and trip planning app; their digital ticketing system; and full-stack tech suite for daily bus operations. Understanding that operators lack financial resources to cover the upfront costs of deploying these technologies, Chalo invests in the hardware and software solutions, and operators only pay when their ridership increases. Because of its value proposition, Chalo has grown to become India's leading transport technology company with over 45 million rides per month on Chalo buses, 14 thousand with live tracking. Chalo is now in operation in 30 cities across India, and 23 of them have Chalo consumer products.
