2025 Annual Report
The 2025 Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of the Africa Transport Policy Program's progress in advancing safe, sustainable, and resilient transport systems across the continent. Covering the first full year of implementation under the Fourth Development Plan (DP4), the report highlights the program's strategic shift from policy generation to practical, on-the-ground implementation support across its four core pillars: regional connectivity, urban mobility, road safety, and resilient road asset management.
Key milestones include the successful return of the SSATP Annual General Meeting in Benin, the expansion of the partnership to 44 member countries, the official launch of the Resilient Road Asset Management (RRAM) pillar, and the establishment of the African Association of Road Safety Lead Agencies (AARSLA). The report also presents flagship publications on Africa's road safety status and informal urban transport, and provides a transparent account of program finances and partnership contributions for the reporting period.
