Presented by Ibou Diouf, SSATP's Lead, on November 25, 2019 at SSATP's Annual General Meeting in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, this presentation serves as a progress report for 2019 activities under SSATP's Third Development Plan (DP3). It provides an overview of (i) program management activities, including the DP3 Mid-Term Review (MTR), prospects for the Fourth Development Plan (DP4) and strengthening partnerships; (ii) the outcomes of the Integration, Connectivity and Cohesion Pillar (or regional integration) as pertains to corridor development, policy dialogue on regional integration and promoting efficient logistics services; (iii) the achievements of the Urban Transport and Mobility Pillar with events like the UN-Habitat Assembly, the 17th AGM and General Assembly Meeting of the African Road Maintenance Funds Association and the collaboration with the Leaders in Urban Transport Planning (LUTP) program; (iv) the achievements of the Road Safety pillar, including hosting the First Annual General Assembly of the African Road Safety Observatory (ARSO) and the Implementation of the Africa Action Plan.
